Most soap is made fast, with heat, because heat is efficient. This one isn't. We cold-process this bar at under 40°C to keep the kefir cultures alive — because alive is when they're useful. The result is a lather that cleans without stripping, and skin that doesn't need moisturiser afterwards.

The bar is creamy white and firm, with a gentle, clean scent — faintly milky from the kefir, nothing added to mask or perfume it. The lather is dense and slow, not the quick foam of a commercial soap. It rinses clean. Your skin afterwards feels supplied rather than stripped — soft without needing anything on top of it.

Kefir brings natural lactic acid, proteins, and vitamins to the formula. Green clay draws out impurities without aggression. Australian olive oil forms the base — rich in oleic acid, compatible with skin, and present in every bar we make. The naturally occurring glycerine from cold-process saponification stays in the bar rather than being extracted, as it is in most commercial soap. That is part of why the feel after washing is different.

Lather with water and apply to damp skin, avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. To extend your soap’s life, keep it on a draining soap dish and let it dry between uses.
