Mandarin & Basil Protective Lip Treatment

Lip skin has no oil glands and cannot moisturise itself. Everything it gets comes from outside. This treatment is formulated specifically for that reality — a concentrated, waterless blend of shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, and seven plant oils that delivers both emollient nourishment and a breathable barrier that slows moisture loss. Scented with mandarin and basil — a warm, slightly herbal combination that makes reapplication feel like something worth looking forward to.

The finish is gently glossy, never sticky. The scent is warm and citrus-forward with a subtle herbal edge from the basil — more complex than a standard fruit balm. It melts on contact and absorbs without heaviness. Lips feel cushioned and comfortable, not coated.

Shea and cocoa butter form the conditioning base. Beeswax provides the breathable protective barrier — flexible enough to move with the lips rather than sitting stiffly on them. Jojoba, macadamia, castor, and argan oils each contribute differently: jojoba for lipid compatibility, castor for gloss and moisture retention, argan for conditioning. Kakadu Plum extract — one of the most concentrated natural sources of vitamin C — adds antioxidant support. Squalane and vitamin E complete the formula.

Gently push up from the bottom of the tube and apply directly to clean lips, smoothing over the entire lip area. Reapply throughout the day as needed. For an intensive treatment, apply a thicker layer before bed and leave on overnight to let the balm deeply hydrate and soften while you sleep.
