Nourishing Skin Rescue Balm
This balm was formulated for skin that takes a lot. Frequent washing, outdoor work, gardening, cold or dry air — these conditions strip the skin's natural lipid barrier faster than it can replace itself. The Rescue Balm addresses this directly: a concentrated, waterless formula built on virgin beeswax, cocoa butter, olive oil, and avocado oil, with a blend of lavender, sandalwood, cedarwood, peppermint, blue tansy, and grapefruit essential oils.
The balm is amber-toned and firm at room temperature — it softens immediately on contact with skin and spreads with a small amount of friction. The scent is calming and layered: lavender at the top, cedarwood and sandalwood beneath, a cool edge from the peppermint, and a subtle warmth from the blue tansy. It absorbs without greasiness. Skin afterwards feels protected, not coated.
Virgin beeswax forms the breathable protective barrier — flexible and effective without suffocating the skin. Cocoa butter and olive oil provide deep conditioning. Avocado oil penetrates readily into dry, damaged skin. Blue tansy (Tanacetum annuum) — responsible for the characteristic warmth in the scent profile — is one of the more unusual ingredients in the range, used for its traditional calming properties. Sandalwood and peppermint complete the blend.
Waterless and highly concentrated — a small amount covers significantly more surface area than a standard lotion. Use on hands, heels, elbows, cuticles, feet or any dry or cracked skin. Best applied after washing while the skin is still slightly warm.
No synthetic preservatives. No fillers. Made in small batches in Melbourne. Cruelty free.
Packaged in a 100% recyclable paper tube with a bio lining.
For hands that garden, type, wash, build, cook, and do everything else — this is what they get at the end of the day.
